Sol Jay – KING FREESTYLE

Sol Jay releases a brand new track called “KING FREESTYLE”. Sol Jay is an artist that I recently found surfing through Soundcloud, and his discography is very versatile. In this track, he lays his bars over a dreamy snoozed-produced beat that feels like you’re inside of a video game of some sort. Sol Jay lets out his frustrations about people in his city hating on him, but he stays true to himself and calls it how he sees it. “i really don’t care about shit, i’m just tryna run up my meter. They don’t want the kid the city, well I don’t even want me here,” Sol Jay goes onto to explain. The rawness and limitless potential that Sol Jay has is what intrigues me about his sound. Even though I just caught onto him, I can’t wait to see what’s in store for him in 2019. I’m already a fan!
