Rossi Blue – JUNKFOOD

Ohio has yet another up and comer who’s been on a wave of his own and he goes by the name of Rossi Blue. Currently living in Cincinnati, Ohio, Rossi Blue has remained low-key and has been focusing on this project and it’s finally here – JUNKFOOD.

Rossi Blue has a style that I haven’t come by in the current realm of hip hop. His persona shines charismatically through his nonchalant, effortless delivery while he raps confidently about all kinds of experiences in the life of Rossi Blue. He often raps in 3rd person referring himself as “Rossi Blue”. The project features artist/producers such as Loudy Luna, Thibault, Jay Cribbs, Lex Lander, Tim Jewls, and Paramaxx who he’s been recording with in Detroit and Cincinnati to bring JUNKFOOD to life. The production in this project is impeccable in every sense of the word. It offers substantial and inventive percussions along with very heavy bass and 808’s that really captivates you. The production matched with Rossi Blue’s soothing voice really puts the listener in a trance as you make your way through the project. My personal favorite tracks are “Field Trip” with Loudy Luna, “Make Up”, “Invasion”, and of course the single from the tape “Gucci Eyepatch” with Lex Lander, Tim Jewls, and Paramaxx.

If you haven’t heard of Rossi Blue or have gotten hip to him yet, JUNKFOOD is the perfect project to digest to get familiar. It’s short, but sweet and it brings his entire sound to the forefront. Get hip now before it’s too late because this won’t be the last time you hear from Rossi Blue.
