Fans of Night Lovell have been gifted with a transcendent music video directed by Avery Stedman for his most recent release, “BAD KID.” If you have not familiarized yourself with Night Lovell yet, today would be a good day to start. He’s not an artist that’s super flashy and not forceful with what he puts out, but doesn’t even need to be because the talent is all there. His deep and dark vocals and lyrics are the type that make you feel indestructible, and on this track, are matched by an enchanting beat produced by no other than Ginseng and Fifty Grand. The feeling this video gives me is a sense of disorientation as he’s in and out of consciousness, waking up each time to an eery reality, and ending up face to face to a skeleton of a “Bad Kid” up in flames. People love to hate him because he is misunderstood and getting paid for telling his stories in his own grimey way.
