Lil Xtra – I Hope You Make It

“I Hope You Know I Mean It” is Xtra’s first song that gained some traction, and racked up over a million plays across platforms in total over the past 10 months. Teaming up with budding videographer Jack Rottier, the duo set to bring the video to life. Following Xtra around the city, this video slips in between gloomy shots and crystal clear scenery while Xtra sings along to the song. Touching on his love for music and how it has impacted his life to date, the emotion in Xtra’s vocals convey the character of somebody solely in this for the love of the music. Bouncing between smooth melodies that are highlighted with background echoing screams, Xtra creates a great song.

Lil Xtra is an Atlanta-bred artist who has made a name for himself through the sadchill type side of Youtube, but he’s looking to break out of that box. He has also recently release a project called “Make It Fall Through” which has helped him gain over 60,000 Spotify listeners, which is very impressive.
