Lil Turbo – Turbo Tax 2: KillSwitch Returns

Charleston forerunner Lil Turbo turns up on his latest project “Turbo Tax 2: KillSwitch Returns”

Of all the artists coming up right now, Lil Turbo has to be at the top of my list. As I’ve previously stated in posts before, Lil Turbo has a crazy and inventive sound that’s coming from a genuine place and you can feel it with every Turbo song you listen to. South Carolina is one of the most poppin’ scenes right now and it’s no surprise that Lil Turbo is one of the forerunners leading the charge.

In his latest project Turbo Tax 2: KillSwitch Returns, he brings that same energy and enthusiasm in the sequel just like he had in the first installment. In this project in particular, you can hear how much he’s grown as an artist and the beat selection is impeccable from beginning to end. There isn’t one song that sounds like the next, they are all unique in their own way and Turbo really showcases his versatility. My personal favorite tracks are “KillSwitch 2”, “1Of1”, and “Faster”. The project features amazing production from Hollow, FadedBlackKid, Treesap, Darius Jamal, Xz!, Chris Surreal, and Keyboard Kid.
