Lil Skies – Real Ties

Lil Skies returns to his hometown of Waynesboro, PA to turn up with the city he made it out of in the Xandros directed visuals for ‘Real Ties.’

It’s no secret that Lil Skies has risen to star status in the past year with hits such as ‘Red Roses’ and ‘Nowadays’ propelling his career to the next level. After going on tour and collaborating with debatably one of the biggest names in hip-hop, Wiz Khalifa, Lil Skies showed the world that he’s here to stay for the long run, but with all this going on, he hadn’t been dropping music as consistently as his fans are used to. All of a sudden he made the trip back to his hometown in Pennslyvania to show everyone his ‘Real Ties’ and give love back to the city he made it out of.

This video shows the humble character that Skies possesses, met with the fire flow and lyrics that everyone has grown to love him for. This is an all-around homecoming song for Skies and it’s great to see him showing his hometown love and always repping it. Seeing Skies always being real makes me respect him as an artist and a human being, he knows he came from humble beginnings and knows he owes the love back to his city.
