Larry League – Superbad

It’s been a while since we have gotten a full project from the Atlanta trio Larry League, and today we proudly get to present their highly anticipated album Superbad. This album really brings the Larry swag, charisma, and sound full circle from beginning to end.
Larry League has been hyping this release with viral snippets and the Superbad reference of their cover art which has brought a lot of attention back on their end. The album has features from frequent collaborators Yung Bans, Thouxanbanfauni, and Trinidad James, and featured production from Chinatown, TrapMoneyBenny, Hurtboy AG, Sensei ATL of Larry League, DJ Spinz, and many more established producers.
This album really showcases the versatility that Larry League has – from the dreamy and melodic track “Sho Nuff” with Yung Bans to the hard hitting, bass heavy “NightWatch”. My personal highlight from the album is seeing Larry League recruiting Fauni for another hit in “Gretchen”. This song essentially serves as a sequel to “Gloria” with Thouxanbanfauni which is debatably one of the best songs to come out of that early 2015-2016 Atlanta SoundCloud scene. I get these feelings of nostalgia all throughout the album and I am frequently reminded why Larry League is one of my favorite collectives in the realm of hip hop today.
Make sure you all tap in with the Larries below, you won’t be disappointed.
