J.I.D – DiCaprio 2

From East Atlanta, J.I.D has just released his sequel to his debut EP, “DiCaprio” and it is highly impressive.

Coming off a great year so far, J.I.D has been gaining more momentum than ever. Earlier this year J.I.D participated in 2018’s XXL Freshman List, along with many other artists who are making a name for themselves this year. This is nothing new for J.I.D. The Dreamville prodigy has been pushing a style far from just trap beats and melodies, he brings the lyricism while giving us outstanding songs.

J.I.D has such an unorthodox style, which is why I love this artist so much. “DiCaprio 2” has been highly anticipated, especially after releasing stand out singles such as, “151 Rum” and “Off Deez” featuring one of his mentors, J Cole. The whole project is filled with word play and very fast lyrically filled songs that make you want to rap every song word for word, filled with features that help compliment his style such as Joey Bada$$, A$AP Ferg, 6LACK, and more. This project is a masterpiece and shows that J.I.D is a very unique artist.
