Hooligan Chase – Apache

The rising North Carolina-bred artist, Hooligan Chase, delivers a brand new offering called “Apache”.

I first came across Chase surfing through the internet and then I came across his Mass Appeal: Open Space interview, and I immediately became a fan of just him as a person. Then I dove into his music and it turned out to be right up my alley. His music is fun, grimy, extremely creative, and just really addicting. Oh, and not to mention, he produces a lot of his own beats which is rare nowadays in hip hop. When you listen to his sound, you can definitely hear some influences, but at the same time he’s in a lane of his own.

In this cut “Apache”, the loop kind of has an “Old McDonald had a farm” ring to it, but once the drums hit, it goes crazy. His lyrics are hilarious but so hard at the same time. “Open wide, bitch my kids is for trix… Hold up me? If the shoe f***in fits.”

I can just tell Hooligan Chase is trying to be no one but himself and that’s rare to find in the game today. I thoroughly enjoy every release he’s put out since I found him and I can’t wait to see where the music takes him going into 2019. Do yourself a favor and listen to the new track below:
