Global Dan – Down (feat. Global Krayzie)

The rising Maryland superstar Global Dan returns for another hit called “Down” featuring another artist from his collective, Global Krayzie.

Global Dan rose to stardom quickly with his standout hit “Off-White” and he even got the co-sign from Virgil Abloh himself as he created the cover art for the hit single. Since then, Global Dan has been kind of quiet in the realm of hip hop, but assure you he’s still here making noise. The Ric&thadeus produced beat is very spacey and it almost feels magical. Global Dan absolutely kills the hook, it’s extremely addictive and pleasing to the ear. “I don’t let it get the best of me, baby I’m a let you get the rest of me. Even tho I hate it whenever you stressing me, girl you know I always gotta have you next to me, next to me.” Then Global Krayzie comes in with the crazy bars and it really compliments Global Dan’s verse and hook to end the song with a cliffhanger. The replay value on this song is crazy, I had to run it back 5 times.

I can see this song getting really big in the future if they make a music video for it, that will give this song the right push to make this go viral. Global Dan has always been one of my favorite artists in recent years, I think he brings an entire new vibe to hip hop and I can’t wait to see where he ends up heading into 2019.
