G-Willi – Simmer Down

Elizabethtown, KY’s very own G-Willi releases his latest project Simmer Down.

This project is smooth! G-Willi has a very inventive sound of his own that is a blend of a lot of different genres. I can hear his influences in his music, but nonetheless he is creative and making sounds of his own. In songs like “Moonlight” and “Wylin” he can make really smooth and groovy pop songs that could honestly be played in dancehall’s to jig to, then he has tracks like “Show Out” and “Magnet” where he takes the more hip hop route but also blends that melodic tone to really create complete records. Overall, I really enjoyed his project! I like the direction he is taking his sound and I’m excited to hear more from him. If he takes his style and image seriously, I could see him making a lot of noise in the Bluegrass state and beyond!
