Freshie – Sooner Than Later

Eastside Cleveland’s forerunner Freshie finally unleashes his debut project Sooner Than Later

After coming off of an amazing performance at our show “Soul Serum Vs. The World” and opening for Young Thug, Freshie is proving himself to be one of the best rising artists to come out of Ohio. Repping east side Cleveland in literally every song, Freshie is destined for greatness as he embraces the city that raised him. The long-awaited debut project Sooner Than Later is finally here and it’s filled with everything you’d expect in a full body of work from Freshie. From the bass heavy, emphatic delivery to the contagious melodies that we know and love from Freshie, he surely doesn’t disappoint. My personal favorite tracks are “One of a Kind”, “Too Hot” with Foreign Jay, and the lead single “Dr. Suess”. Freshie has a familiar, yet original sound that stems from the raw underground culture that we know and love in hip hop, but his music is getting the point that it can be marketed commercially and I can see him becoming a mainstream success in no time. This project will be on repeat for me personally and I know you guys will pick a few tracks out that you will enjoy yourself!
