Derek James – Like Jordan

Lexington, KY forerunner DerekJames showcases his versatility in a new track called “Like Jordan”.

If you aren’t hip to Derek James and the 4700 collective, you’re surely missing out. In Kentucky it’s hard to come across natural born talent in music, but Derek James is the exception. In this new track, Derek hops on a Drake dance hall type of beat that’s really bouncy and rhythmic (produced by Jay Harkless). The feeling I get when I listen to this song is unexplainable, it’s so catchy and infectious that I can’t help wanting to sing every word that I know and get up and dance. The confidence and overall charismatic persona that Derek James has is what’s going to take him far and he will have longevity doing so.
