DamonStCloud – Letter To My Ex

Up and coming New Jersey rapper and producer shares a personal story about his ex-girlfriend, falling out of a relationship, and sharing the pain of a heartbreak. The song is a very smooth, but rather uplifting track that finds the light in what he’s going through.

“Letter To My Ex” is a track produced by myself and BHawk. It’s about telling someone that you still care about them even though things have ended. I wrote this song after a break up. This is my letter wishing them the best. It was important for me to address the feeling of loss but focus on optimism so I open with the lyrics “Expressing the pain / What’s not meant to be will not stress me again/ Letting go be the hardest part of the game /Sharing memories we done put in years in this thing”. – Damon
