Cal Scruby – Unsigned

If you didn’t already know, Cincinnati’s own, Cal Scruby is turning heads in the industry and all over the country with his ambitious new album, ‘Unsigned.’

Cal Scruby has been a name in the game for years. Coming out of Cincinnati and making a name for yourself is something that we are experiencing first hand at Soul Serum and really opens our eyes to just how big this album is for Cal and our city. This album has been in the works for a long time as his last released project came back in 2017. In the time between that project (Long Story Short) and now, it seems like Cal has been perfecting his sound and really working to distinguish himself from the rest.

This is a project that you can easily listen to top to bottom without any skips, but some of my favorite tracks from the project are ‘Blink 182’, ‘No Offense’, and the standout ‘Shut Up.’ Cal really is putting on for our city and something that I will always respect from him is the love he has for this city.
