Brent Faiyaz- Around Me

Maryland native, Brent Faiyaz, has released the Lonewolf directed and edited visuals for single “Around Me”- a track dedicated to his self-awareness and independence, featured on his most recent EP, “Lost”. Lonewolf opens up the short film with a warm-hued sunset and his signature paper art aesthetic, leading to a time lapse of Faiyaz basking in his lonesome as people come and go.

“And if I had to choose me or you, I’d choose me” 

You may recognize the soft and smooth vocals of Faiyaz from his GoldLink collaboration on double platinum hit, “Crew”. This was a big moment for Faiyaz’ career, granting him with a Grammy nomination for the feature and ultimately spreading his name and . Faiyaz makes it a point to stray away from the traditional rap/R&B topics and create his own messages. His voice is seen to many as therapeutic and I hope that with a voice and flow as underrated as his, he continues to flourish.
