Ano Bank$ – Chicago

Chicago’s Ano Bank$ birthday just passed and he has a new project as promised called Luh Elephant. The BackYard Series showcase with close friend Zoe Nyman served as a release party for the project. Banks has been bubbling since last year doing shows in Chicago including So Far Sounds, to even being featured on NPR’s website for his Tiny Desk submission. “Luh Elephant” in Banks words  “It’s exactly what i aimed to do, it’s a f***ng bop! It’s my rendition of TrapSoul, a honest look into me. I’ve made a lot of music but this feels like my first real project.” In the five track E.P. Bank$ and his engineer Juice Beatz have all the past sounds he’s been using in the last year and new. His hit single “Coaster” ends the smooth ride that includes lyrical standouts like “WiFi” and also super vibey songs like “Let Me Kno.” Bank$ also pays homage to Ludacris with song “Splash Waterfalls 2” and Houston,Tx chopped and screwed music with some songs going into a slowed version of itself at the conclusion. Luh Elephant is out now on Soundcloud, and he’ll drop one song a week on major streaming services for the next month.Ano Bank$ is definitely somebody to look out for.
